Our goal is to create a show where everyone has a fair chance at getting a piece. We want you to win either by luck or wallet, and not lose because of people trying to cheat the system. We created a registration system that hopefully will make it difficult for bad actors from using bots or fake accounts. We know it’s impossible to stop it completely, but we’re going to try our best to keep the playing field fair. Everything we’re doing whether it’s extra rules or steps, is solely the benefit of the collectors.

Questions & Answers
➼ How are the pieces being sold?
A combination of Lottery and Auction. The majority will be Lottery.
The participating Artists all made Spark-Ling custom runs with editions ranging between 3 to 7 pieces.
Most artists will have all but one of their pieces sold by Lottery. The remaining one will be auctioned. In some cases the Artists chose to make the Auction piece different or a 1/1.
There are four artists who will have two auctions: Scott Tolleson, J*RYU, Motley Miscreations, and Artiqfox.
For the 2 auctions, there will be a Limited Auction and an Open Auction.
➼ Is there a limit to how many Spark-Lings a person can win?
Yes, the limit is 2 Spark-Lings per person. One Lotto, and One Limited Auction.
If you win a lotto, you cannot enter any more lotteries.
If you win a Limited Auction, you can no longer bid on any more Limited Auctions.
The only exception to this is the Open Auctions. This is open to anyone to bid on, regardless if you have won already.
The rule overall is one Artist win per person.
For example, if you won the Lotto for J*RYU, you are excluded from entering the Limited Auction and Open Auction. If you win a Limited Auction for J*RYU, you cannot enter the Open Auction for J*RYU.
➼ Is shipping included?
Shipping will be charged as follows:
Domestic US
Shipped with Insurance and signature: $25
International
You will get a separate invoice for shipping to your Country.
All pieces will be shipped with SIGNATURE REQUIRED.
We suggest registering and choosing a shipping address where you’ll be able to sign for the delivery.
➼ When will the pieces be shipped?
The plan is to print labels and ship by the Monday, following the show.
➼ International shipping okay?
Yes.
➼ If I win more than one Spark-Ling, can you do combined shipping?
Yes, we're going to try and do this. It's possible you'll get charged for individual shipping first, and then we'll refund the difference.
Please indicate in the invoice NOTE section that you're seeking COMBINED SHIPPING, only AFTER you score your 2nd piece. Must win 2+, to request it.
➼ When are you doing the lottery and auctions?
We're going to run the show by artist. For example, for J*RYU's Spark-Lings, we'll run the lottery first. And then immediately after the lottery has finished, we'll run the Limited Auction. If there's an open auction (which there is with J*RYU), it'll be immediately after the Limited Auction.
➼ Can a person win more than one Open Auction?
Yes
➼ How long do you think the show will be?
We're going to TRY to keep the show at 4 hours. There's 15 artists, so we're going to hold lotteries and auctions for each artist to 15 minutes.
➼ Will we know the order of Artists beforehand?
Yes, we plan to release the order of the show early in the week of the show to help people strategize and plan.
➼ Will we know the prices too?
Yes, prices and quantities will be posted at the same time as the Show Order
.
➼ Are we going to see a preview of all the Spark-Lings in the show?
That's the plan!
➼ How do I enter the lottery?
All of the lotteries will be done directly in the Chat Comments during the Show.
How it works, is the host will give the special lotto codeword when it’s time to do the lotto. Let’s say it’s #flower. If you want to enter this lotto, and you are eligible to enter because you have not won a previous lotto, you would type in #flower into the show chat comments. This would automatically enter you into the lottery for this specific Spark-ling.
➼ Where do I find the auctions?
The auctions will be held on the Broke Piggy site. A direct exclusive link will be given during the show.
Only people who are registered can win an auction.
➼ What email do I use for the auction?
Your email for the auction MUST match the email you registered with.
➼ Do I need a YouTube Account?
Yes, If you plan on entering lotteries.
➼ Are there going to be any 5" Spark-Lings or other types of Wisplings?
All the Artists made 3" Spark-Lings. However, the Wisplings are wild and unpredictable. There might be a larger one that shows up unannounced.
➼ If we win a Spark-Ling, how do we pay?
You'll be getting an invoice emailed to you via PayPal shortly after you win. There should be options to pay via PayPal or credit card.
➼ How long do we have to pay the invoice?
The invoice should be paid immediately within 15 minutes. If you're unable to pay that day, please DO NOT enter lotteries or bid on auctions. Non-payment will lose their Spark-Ling, and risk NOT being able to participate in future shows.
➼ Will any Artists be on the stream?
Yes!
➼ How difficult will it be to win a Spark-Ling?
We are capping the registrations to 300. There are 65 pieces, so it’s a rough guestimate of around 20%-30% chance, but that percentage will increase as people are no longer eligible to participate in lotteries and auctions.
➼ Can another person registered for the show mule for me?
We're not going to police muling for other people to better your chances or score an additional Spark-Ling. But use your judgement. Sometimes winning at all costs can cause long term damage to reputation in our small tight-knit community. And in our opinion, your reputation is the most valuable asset you have.
The person who wins will be invoiced. No exceptions. Do NOT ask if so and so can pay, cause you're really buying it for them. Your win will be cancelled if you ask.
➼ Will Broke Piggy be able to enter the lotteries and auction too?
Yes. But they have to follow the same rules as everyone else. They have no special advantage over anyone. Curators are not allowed to enter.
➼ Why are you doing the show format like this?
We know all the complaints. The unlucky hate lotteries. The people without deep pockets hate auctions. Some people love the opportunity to be able to score multiple Spark-lings through the Auctions, while others demand a strict one Spark-ling per household. We hear the line, “It’s not fair.” a lot. And we do listen. We’ve been actively tweaking our online show format for years with our private shows.
If you’re new to Broke Piggy, here’s our philosophies on auctions and business.
Yes, some of the 1/1 designs or maybe your favorite variation from an artist is set up for the auction, instead of the lottery. This is by the artist's choice. And why shouldn't it be auction? It's rarer. Majority of the pieces are for lottery. We think it's more than fair.
With the Open Auction, we chose not to put a limit on these, because it helps out the artist. We could have done all auctions, but we didn't. The Open Auctions make up less than 6% of the show. There's only FOUR of them. It's not the end of the world.
Most of the money in a Broke Piggy auction goes to the artist. We run things very differently than the other custom shows in our scene. Our model is completely different. Broke Piggy splits are artist friendly. We cap ourselves on auctions, which means, if an auction goes crazy... you're directly supporting the artist.
